코스트코에 들렸다가, 치즈코너를 둘러보던 중.
눈에 들어오는 녀석이 있었다. 딸기잼이 담아져 있는 그런 유리병 안에 빨간색에 동그란 물체들이 동동 떠있는.. 이름이 뭔가 봤더니, almito Sweet Piquant Cherry Peppers (알미토 체리페퍼 크림치즈) 라고 되어있더라.

I went to Costco on last saturday, and I was looking around the cheese corner. There was a things that caught my eye. Inside a glass bottle, there are round objects floating in red. I looked at the name, and it said Almito Sweet Piquant Cherry Peppers.

이 체리페퍼라는 것은 체리가 아닌 고추 품종 중 하나이라고 함. 매운 맛은 거의 없는 파프리카와 비슷한데, 걍 작은 파프리카라고 생각하면 된다. 이 체리페퍼 안에 치즈를 넣어, 카놀라유 안에 설탕, 정제소금, 초산등을 넣어 절여낸 음식인데. 비주얼로는 그닥 내키지 않았으나, 검색을 해보니 맛있다고 하는 후기들이 많아서 일단 담아봤다.

This cherry pepper is said to be one of the red pepper varieties, not cherries. The spicy taste is similar to paprika, just a small paprika. It's a food that is pickled with cheese in this cherry pepper, sugar, refined salt, acetic acid, etc. in canola oil. I didn't want to taste it visually, but when I searched it, there were many reviews saying it was delicious, so I just put it into the cart.

무슨 맛일까 궁금해, 일단 병을 오픈한 후 빨간 체리페퍼를 꺼내 접시 위에 올려서 사진을 담아봤다.

I wonder what it tastes like, so once I opened the bottle, I took out a red cherry pepper and put it on a plate and put it in a picture.

그리고, 와인도 따르고.. 나이프와 포크를 사용해, 크리미한 치즈를 감싸고 있는 빨간 체리페퍼를 조심스레 잘라 본 후, 입안에 한 조각을 넣어봤다.

순간 ”어?.. 음~ “하면서 감탄사가 나온다.. 기대 이상으로 너무 괜찮았다.


And pouring the wine on wine glass. Using a knife and fork, I carefully cut the red cherry pepper wrapped around the creamy cheese and put a piece in my mouth.

I was like, "Huh?..." "Hmmm!" exclamations come out. It was better than I expected.

Personally, it's so delicious with crackers. And, if you freeze green grapes together, it will be a fantastic combination.
