 테슬라 최고경영자(CEO)인 일론 머스크는  27일 자신의 트위터를 통해 "테슬라 개발팀은 최근 테슬라 세미 전기트럭이81000파운드(37톤) 화물을 싣고 500마일(약 800km) 주행 테스트를 성공적으로 마쳤다"라고 말했습니다. 81,000파운드(약 36.7톤) 라는 수치는 어느정도의 무계냐..? F-15E 전투기의 무계가 37,500파운드(17톤)입니다.. 전투기 두대를 싣고도 6,000파운드(2.7톤)가 남네요.. 어느정도인지 대략 가늠이 되시죠? 

 

 Tesla CEO Elon Musk said on his Twitter account on the 27th, "The Tesla development team recently successfully completed a 500-mile (about 800km) drive test with 81,000 pounds (37 tons) of Tesla semi-electric trucks loaded."  테슬라 세미(Semi) 전기트럭이 최대주행거리 테스트를 성공적으로 마쳤으며, 테슬라는 오는 12월 1일 목요일 테슬라 세미 최초 출고식을 진행한다고 소식을 전해왔습니다. 테슬라 세미 전기트럭은 대형 트레일러 시장에서 양산을 시작한 유일한 전기트럭인데, 중장거리 운송 시장에서 매우 높은 경쟁력을 발휘할 것으로 기대를 하고 있으며, 전기차 시장에서 테슬라이 이미 새로운 센세이션을 가지고 왔듯이 새로운 돌풍을 일으켜 갈 것으로 예상되고 있습니다.

 2017년 11월 처음 공개된 세미 전기트럭은 2018년부터 시험 주행에 들어가 5년 차인 2022년 초, 개발을 완료한 후 최근 양산을 시작하였으며, 최대주행거리 480km와 800km로 최종 2가지 버젼으로 출시되며, 예상 판매 가격은 2억원 선으로 예상되고 있습니다. 정확한 가격은 12월 1일 이후 알려지겠죠? 

 

 The semi-electric truck, which was first unveiled in November 2017, began test driving in 2018 and recently began mass-production in early 2022 after completing its fifth year of development. It will be released in two final versions with a maximum mileage of 480km and 800km, and the expected sales price is expected to be around 200 million won.  월마트, 펩시 등 대형체인을 갖춘 기업들에서 약 2000대의 세미 전기 트럭을 사전 주문하였으며, 오더를 수주 했다고 합니다. 테슬라 세미 트럭은 기가팩토리의 세미 전기트럭 전용 생산 라인에서 올해 우선 기업용으로 소량 생산 출고할 예정이며, 본격적인 양산은 2023년부터 시작할 것으로 보여집니다.  

 

 Companies with large chains such as Wal-Mart and Pepsi have pre-ordered about 2,000 semi-electric trucks and won orders. Tesla Semi Truck will first produce and ship a small amount for companies this year from Giga Factory's semi-electric truck production line, and full-scale mass production is expected to begin in earnest.
