National Holiday? 아니면 Federal Holiday? 올바른 표현은?

National Holiday? or Federal Holiday? What's the correct notation?

 

 우리는 공휴일을 영어식 표현으로 National holiday라고 하고 있으나, 미국에서는 Federal holiday라는 표현을 쓰고 있습니다.  2023년도 미국 휴무일 (Federal holiday) 은 아래와 같습니다. 

 

We use the expression "National holiday" in English, but we use the expression "Federal holiday" in the United States. The Federal Holiday in 2023 is as follows.

새해 첫 날 New Year’s Day: Saturday, January 2 (Observed, January 1) 

마틴 루터 킹 데이 Martin Luther King Jr Day: Monday, January 16

위싱턴대통령 탄신일 President’s Day: Monday, February 20

현충일 Memorial Day: Monday, May 29

노예해방일 Juneteenth: Monday, June 19 

독립기념일 Independence Day: Tuesday, July 4

근로자의 날 Labor Day: Monday, September 4

컬럼버스의 날 Indigenous Peoples’ Day (also observed as Columbus Day): Monday, October 9

그리고, 위에서 언급 한 공휴일 외 아래와 같이 미국인들이 매우 중요한 날이라고 여기는 기념일들이 있습니다.
